Constanza Nieto
Constanza Nieto has over 20 years of experience as entrepreneur, founder, CEO, consultant and business executive of private and public corporations, and government institutions in Latin America and in the USA. She co-founded Global Tech Bridge and GaussSoft in the US, BBVA Horizonte in Colombia, AFP prevision in Bolivia and AFP prevision in El Salvador. As a CEO for more than six years at BBVA Horizonte, she sold this pension and savings funds management company to the Spanish group Banco Bilvao Viscaya Argentaria, and acquired and merged several other pensions fund. She has also served as a Chief Information officer (CIO), Chief Operations Officer (COO), and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at several government institutions and financial corporations.
She has successfully assisted governments, entrepreneurs, and corporations, in their plans for international expansion for several years. Currently she is CEO of GaussSoft Inc, the US subsidiary of a Latin American software company; Marketing and Business Development consultant for TechBA, the Business Accelerator for Mexican Companies in San Jose, California; Consultant for several IT Latin American Companies, and Director of International Programs at The Enterprise Network, a technology incubator in the Silicon Valley.
Mrs. Nieto has an Industrial Engineering degree with a minor in statistics from the University of Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, and is a Certified Marketing Specialist from University of California Santa Cruz UCSC. During her professional life she has been University professor and counselor, international lecturer, and member and president of Boards of Directors of several companies and organizations.
